Identifying Giftedness in a Child

  1. My brother was gifted growing up but at the time they didn’t know what it was and miss took it for ADHD. They over medicated him and it was quite tough for him at that time. But once they figured out he was bored not hyperactive they were able to challenge him and keep him at a higher level while remaining in his age group. This was at a private school as well, you think they would have been able to handle the situation better.
